Did this race as I as down these parts for the weekend, and my brother (Noel) was doing it.
Stage 1: 8km TT
This was my second time doing a TT having all ready done the Galway Bay league TT a few weeks back.
Was alot of fancy TT bikes aero helmets and disc wheels which i didn’t expect in the A4 cat. The course
was mostly flat with a 500m drag after about 1 km and another shorter drag before the finsh. Was run
on main Kilarney-mallow road so surface was good and we had a slight crosswind. Didnt start very well

On Sunday last 10 members of Galway bay turned up in Sligo for the an post ox mountain challenge.
Terry Staunton,Tj Mullins,John Fahy,Tom Fahy,Mairtin og McDonagh,Tony Bourke,Mark Herrick,Mike Smith,Larry Kelly,Ronnie Greaney.
What lay ahead was 160+km of good cycling and craic and plenty of Cake.
We met in the carpark of Sligo I.T. ,with Mullins starting the slagging early(what is his problem with my red shoes).
It was decided to head away a few minutes early as the lads are camera shy and they reckoned we would get the pick of the food at the first stop(Tj).
